![]() 2vuy), ASF(.asf), Internal Video Files(.dif. ![]() ![]() dvsd), iTunes Video File(.m4v), YUV Files(.yuv. To address this issue, the best solution is transcoding incompatiple MP4 files to Pinnacle Studio compatible editing formats listed below: If the MP4 files are encoded with any of above listed unsupported codec, you will definitely fail to load them into Pinnalce Studio. Video codec: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (A)SP, H.264/MPEG-4, H.265/HEVC, VC-1/WMV, Real Video, Theora, Microsoft MPEG4 V2, VP8, MVCĪudio codec: MP3, WMA, AAC, AC-3, DTS,ALAC, DTS-HD Transcode MP4 for Pinnacle Studio editing However, it is well known that MP4 is a container file format, which can hold various different video and audio codec as below: Why Pinnacle Studio won't import MP4 files?Īlthough Pinnalce Studio has native support for MP4 files, but it is only limited to MP4 files encoded with MPEG-4 codec. Sometimes, you may have some online downloaded or device recorded MP4 files in hand, when you try to import mp4 files to Pinnacle Studio with its capture tab, you will receive a importing error message. I am sure I am doing something wrong here, but there seems no way that I can get rid of the 4th (empty) page, and make the 3rd page contain the "Previous Page" and "Return to main Menu" controls. You can easily add video clips from variety of sources including video tapes, memory cards or data discs, DVD discs or even external devices such as a webcam or VCR to Pinnacle Studio. However, the result sometimes is a 4th menu, so the pages on the menu's look like this:Ĭontrol Menu for "Next Page", "Previous Page" and "Return to Main Menu"Ĭontrol Menu for "Previous page" and "Return to Main Menu" To explain a bit better, the pages of the sub-menu should look like this:Ĭontrol menu for "Next Page" and "Return to Main Menu"Ĭontrol menu for "Next Page", "Previous Page" and "Return to Main Menu"Ĭontrol Menu for "Previous Page" and "Return to Main Menu" Sometimes Pinnacle creates an additional (4th) page, that has no links on it, and I can not get rid of that! Depending on the number of links to scenes, Pinnacle automatically creates additional pages (in my case only 3 links to scenes fit on 1 page, and I have 8 scenes to select from), with appropriate menu controls (Back to Main Menu, Next Page, and Previous Page). What I find strange in this is, that the markers are color-coded according to the menu (main is blue, sub is orange), which suggests what I want to accomplish is altogether possible.Īnother kind of strange behavior is the multi-page sub-menu. ![]() What I think I should apply is a "conditional" (Only return to the sub menu when the scene is selected from the sub menu) "Return to Menu" marker, or something to that respect, but I can not find any way to do this. BUT! when this is in place, and I select the "play all" from the main-menu, it happily starts playing at the first scene, but after that, it returns to the sub-menu. So far I have been able to accomplish the playing of one single scene selected from the sub-menu, and after that, returning to the sub-menu. What I want is a main-menu that allows people to either play all scenes, and a link to sub-menu that allows them to select and play one specific scene, and then return to the sub-menu. I am using Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate, but have some strange behavior when working with menu's. ![]()
